Daedalus' Daughter Steampunk Necklace
Daedalus' Daughter is a unique winged necklace in the Steampunk style. The characterful salvaged watch movement has the most wonderful patina and has been embellished with a single ruby rhinestone, and hangs from a pair of brass angels wings. The asymetric chains add a touch of eccentricity. To finish it off there is a tiny cog at the end of its chain. Absolutely one of a kind!
No-one ever remembers Daedalus' daughter, which is annoying as she is the one who finally did what all the men in her family so spectacularly failed to do. After constructing herself a pair of elegant yet sturdy wings she discovered the secret of flight and immediately set off to visit the moon, a place so enchanting that she lives there to this very day. It's very peaceful up there, and best of all no-one makes her do any housework.
