Welcome!
I make unique handmade original jewellery and random objects of desire, all either extremely limited edition or one of a kind. I deal in delightful decadence, gothic romance, retrofuturist delights and plain old rock 'n' roll. Grab a fistful of treasure, indulge your inner magpie, deck yourself out in pretty baubles - get sparkly things in the mail! Come on in, make yourself at home, help yourself to rum, sweeties and cigars...
Inspirations
Steampunk, Jules Verne, H.G. Wells, Charles Darwin, Sherlock Holmes, Dr Who, Mortal Engines and the Larklight trilogy - in fact, anything written by Philip Reeve! Dressing up, beautiful mens tailoring and 1920's style flapper dresses. Proper original old punk rock. Rusty metal. Faded lace. Astronauts, cosmonauts, Georges Méliès and JG Ballard. Abandoned houses. Junk shops. Mad scientists, retrofuturism and the Large Hadron Collider.
Portrait of the artist
Pat Phillips, notorious adept of Tactical Frivolity, Lion Tamer, Rockstar and International Woman of Mystery was born in 1865 in the little known Lancashire town of Scumsley. In 1889 she made her escape to London, where she immediately became embroiled in a filthy slew of artisans, anarchists and musicians. She gained brief notoriety during her affiliation with anarchic samba troubadours "Rhythms of Resistance", but increasingly savage encounters with the Bow Street Runners are thought to have contributed to her eventual mysterious disappearance. There have been many rumours concerning her fate, the most libellous being that she now resides quietly in Tottenham.
